Need help with a Computer Networking homework case study!?
This is how the case scenario goes: A company wants to add a new domain for a subsidiary that they are going to spin off from the main company. The new domain will consist of 1,000 Windows XP Professional machines, with an equivalent number of users. The finance department has authorized the purchase of a new server that you must configure as a domain controller for the new domain. Describe the steps that you must take to install Windows Server 2003, configure the machine as a domain controller, and configure licensing for the new domain.
Your organization hired a moving company to move all 1,000 users’ equipment over to the new building where the subsidiary will be located. After you get the server up and running, you must configure the clients to connect to the domain. Describe the steps you must take to configure each machine. Please someone help me out with this, I would gladly appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance.
